What goes on a pool service invoice

What should a pool service invoice include?

A pool service invoice should include service date, tasks performed (vacuum, skim, brush), chemical readings before and after, chemicals added with quantities, any equipment issues noted, and the next scheduled service date.

How do I bill for pool chemicals?

There are two common approaches: include chemicals in your flat monthly rate, or list them as separate line items. A middle path is to include standard chemicals in the service fee and bill specialty treatments (algaecide, stain removers) separately.

Should pool invoices include water test results?

Yes. Putting pH, chlorine, alkalinity and other test results on each invoice gives the customer a service record, visit by visit.
