About Business Genie

Business Genie is field service management software for contractors, built around route optimization — schedule and route your crews, then invoice and get paid, on the web and in the iOS and Android app.

Working with a company of two

Two people run Business Genie, so the loop between you and them is short: the team sets you up, your crews run the day on it, you say what you need, and new features and improvements ship every week.

  1. 1

    Setup is done for you

When you start, the team sets up your account for free and moves your existing customers and services into Business Genie. Onboarding takes the same day, where enterprise platforms take weeks: the fastest onboarding there is.

Then you use all of it free for a month, twice as long as Jobber’s or Housecall Pro’s 14-day trials, with no credit card to start. Plans are from $50 a month.

  2. 2

Your crews run the day in it

The software is built around the route. Route optimization is on every plan: it orders each tech’s day automatically, re-routes when a job is added, splits jobs across techs and keeps time windows and job durations, with turn-by-turn directions to each job.

The rest of the job runs in the same app: online booking, scheduling and dispatch, estimates with deposits, invoicing and payments by card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo or Cash App, QuickBooks Online sync and the CRM, on the web and in the iOS and Android app.

    Improvements ship every week

New features and improvements ship every week, based on real user feedback. The last leg brings each week’s work back to your crews, on the job.
