iOS, Android and the web
One tech carries an iPhone, the next an Android phone, and the office works in the browser. All three sign in to the same Business Genie account, and because it is cloud software, the day on the phone is the day on the office’s screen.
Directions to the next job
From the day’s list, the next job opens in turn-by-turn directions, so nobody copies an address into another app. The office sees the same day in the browser: which job is next, and the drive to it.
Route optimization in the app
Route optimization is on every plan and works in the app as it does on the web. It orders the day’s jobs by the shortest drive, keeps appointment windows and job lengths, and re-routes the rest of the day when a job is added.
Five ways to pay
When the work is done, the invoice is on the tech’s phone, less any deposit paid on the estimate, and the customer pays it there: by card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo or Cash App. The office sees it paid.
Time tracked with GPS
The tech clocks in at the shop and out at the last job from the app, and GPS time tracking records where each punch was made. The office has the same hours in the browser, and nobody writes them on a sheet.
