The list, room by room
A handyman visit is often a list: the TV in the living room, the running toilet in the hall bath, the dripping kitchen faucet, the front door that won’t latch. On the invoice each fix is its own line, with its hours and the parts it took, so the customer sees what each one cost, and one invoice goes out from the driveway when the last one is done.

The bath, the kitchen
Each fix is its own line under its room, with its hours or its parts: the running toilet and the tub’s caulk, then the dripping faucet at a flat rate.
Paid in the driveway
The front door is the last stop, on the way out. From the van the invoice goes to the customer’s phone at 12:34, and the $420 balance is paid by Apple Pay at 12:41. Card, PayPal, Venmo and Cash App work too.
