Painting is sold on the walk-through. You measure each room’s walls, take off the doors and windows, and choose the colours with the homeowner while you are there. The square feet set the price and the gallons, and the gallons are bought before the crew starts. So the proposal goes out from the driveway, with the deposit that pays for the paint written into it.

Yes. The homeowner pays the deposit by card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo or Cash App when they accept the proposal, so the paint is paid for before the job starts; the rest is invoiced when the job is done.

What happens after the homeowner accepts?

The job is scheduled to a crew with its duration. When the crew is done, you invoice the balance from the job, on the web or in the iOS and Android app, and the homeowner pays it online.
