The balance after the deposit

Most roofs are paid in two parts: the deposit when the proposal is signed, which buys the materials, and the balance on the last day. The invoice takes the deposit off the total, so the homeowner sees the one amount still owed and can pay it on their phone before the crew has loaded the truck.
